The first post

Here it goes - my first attempt at posting. Erin and I painted her tote bag for preschool on Sunday. I got Joe to take a picture in case I started blogging in the next few days, so I'm going to try to post it. Does anyone else find it difficult to let their toddler "do" things without worrying about it if they mess it up. I know it is her tote bag, and I wanted us to "do" it together, but I was so afraid of her "messing" it up(not staying on the stencil), that I was way too controlling about the whole thing. I wish sometimes I could just say here you go, paint away, doesn't matter what it looks like in the end. Honestly, I bet it would look even better if it was an original!

Yeah!! I'm so glad you caved to the peer pressure - if you are anything like the rest of us, you'll LOVE blogging!!!

Jen, I'm so excited that you are joining us. We have so much fun laughing and sharing with each other. There's never pressure to stay current. Just do it when you have time. Yeah Right! You'll find that you set up memorable moments just so you can post them. It's really helped me make the most out even the mundane days! I can't wait to see what the Maggiore girls are up to!

You go girl!! I held out as long as I could too - I had to get through the first month after Callie was born. If I ever had uninterrupted time, I was sleeping, not blogging!! Oh well - welcome to the club!

Oh - and as for the tote bag, it looks adorable!!! I understand wanting it to look so cute, but wanting her to make it her own. The bag is sort of a big deal - she can do her own messy paint on some paper later, I think! :)

Yay! I'm SO excited that you've started blogging! You are going to love it! It's so fun to check in and see what every one's up to and it's so fun to see the "normal" everyday stuff. See, I would have never know about the tote bag story if you hadn't started a blog! :) I love it and completely understand your delimma! I do the same thing! Love the blog, the pics and I can't wait to see more posts from the Maggiore's! :)

Go girl! Jen, I am so tickled that I'll be able to read what's going on in the Maggiore family way over here in Germany! Oh Erin has grown so much and is beautiful as ever and Anna is just a doll. And ya know the first pix I saw of her was on Jessica's blog and then I started looking for the link on Beth's blog to see if you had a blog so I could see more pixs of your little bundle. Then just today Beth informed me that you have entered the blogging world. You're gonna love it and can you believe we even have time to do this with small babies??? Tell Joe I said hello and give your sweet Mother-in-law a big hug for me. Love you, Vonda

Well, I know I am not a YOUNG mother.........Quite the contrary...I am an OLD mother but I sure have enjoyed all this blogging thing! And was it my daughter-in-love that started all this? I loved seeing the beautiful Maggiore family. Those girls are just beautiful and Joseph only looked "a little proud"! I will be checking often so keep those smiles coming!
Love you all,
Linda Williams

Welcome to blogging! You will be glad that you have this unique way of sharing moments with family and friends, destressing at the end of a long day, making good use of that digital camera, adn recording everything to look back at later.

If you read my blog at all, I blogged about the exact same thing as you with Grayson and painting. I had some good feedback from friends that made me get those paints out more often and just let Grayson go to town! He loves to paint and his creations are always intersting messes.
