Last Day of Preschool

Friday was Erin's last day of 3 year old preschool. I feel like just yesterday I was doing my first post on making her tote bag for school. This little girl has grown so much this year. I have to admit I had a difficult time at the beginning of the year. I debated if I should send her to preschool or wait another year. I know now that we made the right decision. She has learned so many things and found so many friends. One of the moms in the class makes a scrapbook for every child(can you believe that?) with all their school memories and some crafts. It will be something we treasure forever. I'm so proud of Erin and am still amazed by her little mind and heart daily. She has a love for art, and it's always something to be given to someone else. A few days ago she drifted off to the playroom and cleaned it for about 20 minutes. She was so proud of herself when she revealed it to me. Even though this was just the last day of school, I feel like it's the beginning of all things 4. By the end of the summer I'll have a 4 year old - where does the time go. I love you little Erin, you're still my favorite Erin!!!

Strawberry Pickin'

Thursday was the perfect day for pickin' strawberries. The weather was beautiful and the kids were so excited. We followed the pickin' with a fun picnic at Bergey's Bread Basket. It was a delicious day with friends.

A Beautiful Day!

Last Wednesday was such a gorgeous day, we took full advantage of it. We played outside after lunch, and Erin and Anna actually played together! Then we headed to the park after nap and daddy met us there. To top it all off, when we got home, the ice cream truck was coming by and Daddy, being the sucker that he is, bought Erin her first ice cream from the ice cream truck. She saved it and ate it after eating a huge dinner! Playing outside really wears us all out, but we love it!

Erin loves pushing Anna in her Push Buggy and Anna always enjoys the ride!

Can you believe Erin has a Cruella De Ville doll. It is so ugly, but she loves it!

Daddy and his little Munchkin.

This was Anna's first time on the swing.

Special treat with Daddy!

Erin chose a Bugs Bunny Ice Cream!

A Magical Place

A Magical Place

This was a trip for the books. We were blessed beyond belief to have 4 grandparents embark on this trip with us and make it the grandest time for Erin and Anna. We stayed in a 4 bedroom home and everyone fit perfectly. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio each morning before heading out for our excursions. We started with Seaworld, and then Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and back to Magic Kingdom.

I cannot describe how Happy this place is. Everyone is so joyful. Very few kids were screaming, and very few parents were yelling, it was so amazing to watch so many people in one place having such a grand time.

Erin truly took it all in - she is very serious when it comes to watching the shows and meeting the characters. She loves any dressed up character, but these friends were so special to her. It was so much fun to watch her love on each of them and them love on her.

Our only regret from this vacation was that Anna became terribly sick. We had to take Tues. off to take her to a Doctor. She was diagnosed with possible RSV and an ear infection. We had to buy a nebulizer and give her breathing treatments every 4 hours, yes even at the parks. She was so wonderful though. You would never know how bad she felt because she was still an angel.

I could go on and on, but I won't bore all of you. It was an unforgettable trip and we are all suffering from PVD(post vacation depression). It's been hard getting back to reality after being swept away to the Magical Land of Disney World. I did my best to choose a variety of pictures for the slide show and not overload ya'll with our 180 pics!

We thank the Lord for allowing us to take this much needed vacation with our family and make memories to be held for years to come. As Erin keeps saying, "My dreams really did come true!"

On the Move

Anna isn't staying in one place anymore. Whether it's rolling or doing the back stroke, she's on the move. Before I know it she'll be on her knees. Get the gates ready!

Sleepytime

We love catching a glimpse of the girls in their most angelic pose - sleeping! We found them last night laying almost completely identical. They're so much alike in some ways, especially their love for sleeping!
