"I'm So Glad I'm 4!"

Yes, those were Erin's first words yesterday. Turning 4 has been very exciting for her. It amazes me that despite already celebrating all week, the actual DAY she turned 4 was the most exciting! It was the culmination of all things birthday for at least a month here in our house.

We started the day at Sandfiddler Cafe a yummy little breakfast joint in Ocean View. They sang to Erin and gave her a frozen icecream cupcake, all at 9:00 in the morning! Then we spent a few hours up at Water Country. We tried to convince her that since she was 4 she was brave enough to go on some new rides, but it didn't work.

After that we all came back and rested for a little before hitting Firehouse Subs for dinner. Then on to Chuck E Cheese for playtime and loving on the "real" Chuck E Cheese. And what birthday wouldn't be complete without a trip to Coldstone. Since we're members of the birthday club at Firehouse and Coldstone - we ate for free! That's when its nice to have bdays so close together. It was the perfect day of celebrating all things Erin and doing everything she loves to do!

This dessert was really good, and I'm going to have to try and copycat it.
MawMaw didn't know what she was in for with this slide.
2 bathing beauties.
Jumping in the waves with Daddy.
Completely tuckered out.
Erin loves this Dalmation at Firehouse. She had quite the conversation with it.
On to the Mouse! The one and only CEC.
We lucked out and the"real" CEC came out and gave hugs.
Anna is ready to drive!
Mommy and Erin enjoying a cup of icecream!

Wow! What a birthday!! Even with all the parties she's had, I'm sure part of her excitement over her "actual" birthday was all the fun time she got to spend with her family...I'm amazed that you did Water Country and still had time for more activity later...we NEVER are able to spend just a couple hours...of course, my big 5 year old, Jake likes to ride all the big rides, and all that standing in line eats up a lot of time. Maybe Erin will be ready for the bigger rides on her next birthday:) Happy Birthday, Erin!

Oh, and I love the pics...especially the one of the two girls in the raft...little Anna holding on for dear life:) so cute:)

Man, y'all did the 'tour' of restaurants!! Can't believe she is 4 - wow! where has the time gone? Remember Anderson & Erin's 1st playdate (asleep in their car seats?).... Happy Birthday to my favorite little 4 year old girl!!!
