Anna has embarked on the world of real food and has had cereal for the first time this week. As you can see by her rice covered smile - she loves it. She took right to it and is ready for Chick-fil-A now!!!!
As for Erin, she has been working very hard at writing her name lately. She is so close to being able to do it by herself. So everything is about spelling. This morning she asked Joe for a waffle and he forgot to put it in the toaster so he asked me to get a w-a-f-f-l-e. I don't know why he spelled it, but he didn't fool Erin - she chimed in, "that spells waffle!" Where did she learn how to spell waffle?

Wow, they grow up fast. I think Anna looks just like Erin in that picture.
That is so funny about Erin. Cody loves w-a-f-f-l-e-s too. He always makes sure I put it in the toster. I guess the days of sneaky spelling are over :)

It's amazing how fast those 3 year old minds absorb everything. And that's right Anna, Chick-Fil-A sounds good to me too! Good for her. Thanks for your kind words on my blog. I'll add ya'lls business to my prayer list, Jen!
anna looks so cute eating her cereal! yum yum! you know how my boys love their waffles! i think that is one of the first things jackson says in the morning! way to go erin with the spelling! smart girl!
It's a sad day when the parents can't communicate anymore through spelling things. Believe me, Isaac doesn't let anything slide...ever!!! We're resigned to lip reading now behind his back.
Shaylee taught Miriam how to "write" her name. It usually looks like two sets of mountians with a valley in between each and she often starts her name with "i" so it looks something like "iMiM". Don't tell her I said that :).
Levi and Anna would have such fun food fights
Way to go girls! Before you know it, Erin will be feeding Anna waffles and teaching her how to spell her own name. Don't you just marvel at these precious moments each day? On another subject, where did you find that 3 ft. big bird you mentioned that Erin had? Hannah would go nuts!
I can remember when Josiah started first noticing letters and trying to figure out what everything said - it would take us 20 minutes to get through parking lots because he would stop to look at all the license plates! What fun! (And welcome to the glorious world of food ANNA! You're going to love it!!)
Jen, that little Erin is SOO smart!! I can just see her looking at Joe like that when they spelled waffle together--she is SO priceless!! :)
This is the time when you and Joe won't get away with much with her tuning in like she is. It can sure blow you away when they come back so fast and as little as they are. She is smart for sure!!
Little Anna is joining the real world of food I see. It gets so fun with all these little changes. Good for her!!
You are in trouble now...once they learn to spell, no more secrets!!! That is too cute:)
