O Happy Day!

Today we took Anna for a 6 month follow-up at the Cardiologist. Just as we suspected, she's perfect. The Doctor walked in the room and said something to the effect of "holy weight gain!" We love how good they make us feel because they know how far she's come. There is absolutely know residual murmur, which is music to our ears. She had to sit still for one more EKG, but it showed everything normal, so no ECHO was needed.
In other exciting news, I introduced Anna to the snack trap today and she loves it! Can't say the same about being in her new big car seat still facing the rear. Weighing in at just about17 pounds she'll be facing the back for awhile. Also, she'll need to stay on formula for about 4 more months, she needs those calories!
We can't help but feel extremely blessed to have such a healthy little girl that will be turning 1 in less than 2 weeks. We love you little angel!

"Mom - you've been holding out on me - this is good stuff."

Just another EKG - nothing to it!

This is our favorite Cardiologist, Dr. Ellis - he always thinks Anna looks so good!

YEAH! We are so happy that Anna is healthy, growing and ready to celebrate turning one. No matter how big she gets, she will still be a little munchkin to Aunt Kim!

Of COURSE they said she was perfect - we all know that!!!! I have GOT to get one of those snack traps - they are the coolest things! And as for needing calories, I can definitely show Anna the way down that road - who needs formula when you can have mac & cheese or brownies! That's much more fun! :) Way to go Anna - you've been such a trooper through everything!!!

Oh and one more thing. Callie was only 18 lbs 4 oz at her 1 year check up - so Anna's not all that much behind!!!

remember jackson...18lbs at one year. she's not too far behind him either. look at him now! :) she is a miracle from heaven and what a blessing it's been to watch you and joe as you walked through this with anna. God has been so good and i love that you are celebrating. anna will grow up knowing very early that God has a big purpose for her life and will be able to see how he has protected her starting so early in her life. we love you anna and wish we could be there to celebrate you tomorrow!
