An Afternoon on the Beach

Joe had a late meeting yesterday afternoon at the oceanfront so we girls decided to tag along and play in the sand. Much to our surprise, they have added a play apparatus at 10th street, so Erin got to play like she was at the park, but on the sand. She loved it and it kept her quite entertained. Anna decided it was all too much for her and found a nice little resting place. The picture is taken from the ground up, she is nuzzled under Joe's arm. As we were getting in the car to leave Anna looked up at Erin and reached out her hand, so Erin reached out her hand and held Anna's. They kept the pose long enough for me to snap a quick pic. Anna is really starting to notice Erin and give her smiles. It melts my heart!

How cute those two sisters are!!! We too, have gotten a kick out of the playgrounds at the beach. As if you need more entertainment at the beach, right? But we love them too!

Very sweet!! It sure does a mother's heart good to see that bond forming. I remember the first time Brad & Alayna did that.

The other day there was a different twist....they were laughing in the back and I look back and they were playing tug of war with a rubber snake that was in the truck. I guess that goes with having a boy!

What you can't see is Erin winking at Anna and whispering, "Stick with me, Sis, and we can get whatever we want from those two. You wanna stop at Dairy Queen on the way home?"

What a sweet moment to capture!! It's so exciting when they can start interacting with one another and enjoy those special moments. Anna is going to love spending time with her big sister!!

(If he will be possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll I thankful, bye friend).

It took me the longest time to figure out how that picture had been taken! We were at the Beach the other day and discovered more playgrounds-one shaped like a pirate ship!! What fun!
