The ladies took off a day early to get a little "girl" time in and had a nice lunch out!
We all went on dates Sat. night, the funny thing is we all ate at the same restaraunt, but at different tables!This weekend we had the pleasure of retreating to the Outer Banks with some other couples from our small group. We planned a marriage retreat and asked a dear couple to share their insights on marriage with us. It was a wonderful time of learning and growing, recommitting and being rejuvenated. Although the weather looked grim as we started out, it ended up being perfect. We are already planning next year's and hope to have our entire small group with us and more!
So glad you all had a great time...and glad the weather didn't totally wreak havoc! So funny about your date night at the same restaurant...did you all send each other notes during the meal? Funny!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome to hear how you and Joe really invest in your marriage. It is no small thing and I know y'all know that. I am praying that John and I will be able to take a 4 day cruise for our 10th at the end of October. It will be the longest we've been away from the kids and I cant' wait. I just pray it all works out. God bless and give love to everyone.
